摘要: Among the advanced karyotype analysis approaches embraced by animal cytogenetics during past decade, chromosome painting has had greatest impact. Generation of specific paints is considered pivotal to his development. Additionally, ability use these across species (referred as Zoo-FISH or comparative painting) undisputedly most important breakthrough that contributed our compare karyotypes a wide range evolutionarily highly diverged painting, and makes them aware tools/resources available carry out this research in variety species. An overview current status results closely well distantly related presented. Findings from different studies show how some segmental syntenies are more conserved compared others. The comparisons provide insight into likely constitution vertebrate/mammalian ancestral help understand intricacies about evolution. Importance setting stage for rapid development gene maps number economically elaborated.
