摘要: Buprenorphine is undergoing clinical trials for the treatment of opiate addiction. Although abuse liability sublingual buprenorphine low, reports intravenous have appeared. This study describes physiologic and subjective effects intravenously administered naloxone given alone in combination to methadone-maintained patients (40-60 mg/day). On four separate occasions at least 1 day apart, 6 subjects were either 0.2 mg buprenorphine, 0.1 naloxone, combination, or placebo. One male subject quit experiment after three sessions because excessive withdrawal. produced no significant effects. Naloxone marked withdrawal symptoms. with characteristic antagonist-like symptoms signs. The parenteral potential discussed.
