摘要: Space-borne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data acquired by the Shuttle Imaging Radar-B (SIR-B) Program and Landsat Multispectral Scanner Subsystem (MSS) Data from 4 were used to map flood boundaries for assessment of damage in Peoples Republic Bangladesh. The cloud penetrating capabilities L-band provided a clear picture hydrologic conditions surface during period inclement weather at end wet phase 1984 monsoon. image digitally processed geometrically rectify pixel geometry filtered subdue speckle effects. Contrast enhancement techniques density slicing create discrete land-cover categories corresponding present time overflight. classification was registered spectral signature area derived MSS collected two weeks prior SIR-B mission. Classification accuracy comparisons made between maps, boundary measurements with merged adding classifications inventorying classes inundated flooding.
