摘要: Within recent years, the X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) has become a widely used technique to determine local atomic structure in material science as well physics, chemistry, biophysics, and geophysics1. The cross section of selected atom when embedded condensed matter shows near edge features (XANES=X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure) oscillations above (EXAFS=Extended Fine which contain informations about oxidation state, symmetry environment, partial density unoccupied states, coordination number distances neighbors. Almost no attempt was successful clarify this until beginning 70’s even if famous scientists showed interests that field2,3. A couple reasons may be given. First tractable theory available give frame analyze Kronig (as it termed before 70’s) existing K or L edges any element present solid, liquid, molecule. D.Sayers’ thesis achieved E. Stern’s group4 for first time subsequent Fourier transform yields pseudo-radial distribution.
