摘要: Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are dynamic that orchestrate tissue morphogenesis during development, support haematopoiesis throughout life, and key mediators of repair disease resolution. In certain states, however, MSCs mediate disrepair exacerbation. Herein we describe the salient features MSCs, highlight need for a deep understanding molecular mechanisms underpin biological function these cells, in order to develop safe effective MSC-based therapies acute chronic disorders currently untreatable.
