摘要: Since its initial description in 1955, primary aldosteronism was thought to be a rare cause of hypertension. However, improved screening methods show that primary aldosteronism is a common form of secondary hypertension. Diagnosis of this disorder results in improved or cured hypertension or targeted pharmacotherapy.
