(250–65 Myr) marine reptiles, such as ichthyosaurs, plesiosaurs, mosasaurid squamates, crocodiles, turtles, exhibit a wide range adaptations broad overlap their tooth morphospaces with those Cenozoic mammals. However, despite these multiple behavior convergences, suction feeding, though being common strategy vertebrates particular, has been extremely rarely reported for reptiles.
