摘要: Re-examination of some species in the genus Neosartorya was prompted by receipt a strain isolated at autopsy from fungal lesion occurring human neck vertebrae (although not proximal cause death). The ascospore morphology this clinical did match that any description, but identical to Aspergillus fischeri var. thermomutatus ex type. Examination type material A. showed taxon had been inadequately described. anamorph is raised rank as thermomutatus, and teleomorph described new pseudofischeri. Genetic similarity studies were conducted aid determining correct taxonomic organism.
