摘要: Due to the complexity of mathematical expressions, literature concerning free vibration analysis plates carrying multiple three-degree-of-freedom (dof) spring-mass systems is rare. In this paper, three degrees freedom (dof`s) for a system refer translational motion its lumped mass in vertical () direction and two pitching motions about horizontal ( ) axes. The basic concept paper replace each three-dof by set equivalent springs, so that characteristics rectangular plate any number can be obtained from those same supported sets springs. Since dof`s are eliminated yield total dof entire vibrating not affected attached plate. However, true conventional finite element method (FEM), where increases if one more Hence, computer storage memory required using presented spring (ESM) less than FEM, plate, advantage ESM. addition, since manufacturing with specified stiffness much easier making constants magnitude, theory replacing springs will also significant viewpoint.
