摘要: The nucleotide sequence of the gene coding for xylose isomerase from Ampullariella sp. strain 3876, a gram-positive bacterium, has been determined. A clone fragment 3876 DNA activity was identified by its ability to complement isomerase-defective Escherichia coli strain. One such complementation positive fragment, 2,922 nucleotides in length, sequenced entirety.
