摘要: Gas prices only seem high. When you say fillerup, pay but a fraction of the actual cost. Not included are tens billions (close to $50 for each barrel oil) military spends annually protect oil fields in Persian Gulf. Then tack on hidden costs environmental degradation, health effects, lost employment, government subsidies and more. Sooner or later, public pays entire price. Bringing market line with energy's burdens will be one great challenges coming decades. The author describes these makes estimates them.
