摘要: Abstract Background While some intervention trials have demonstrated efficacy in treating prolonged grief disorder (PGD), data on long-term treatment effects are scarce. Methods Fifty-one outpatients with clinically relevant symptoms, who had participated a randomized controlled trial (RCT), were followed up, average, 1.5 years after integrative cognitive behavioral therapy for PGD (PG-CBT). Initial assessment procedures repeated, symptom severity as the main outcome and general mental health symptoms secondary outcomes. As results immediate delayed groups (former wait list) similar, follow-up pooled. Results Overall, 80% of original ITT sample could be reached, that is 89% 37 treated participants, well 8 out 14 participants dropped RCT. The considerable short-term success PG-CBT was stable; pre to Cohen׳s d large, 1.24 analysis 2.22 completers. post-improvement overall maintained. Limitations Since RCT list group been their waiting period well, no outcomes available. Conclusions proved effective longer run. In comparison other RCTs this largest up long.
