摘要: We investigate the quantum tunneling of a large spin in crystal field and an external magnetic field. The twofold degeneracy corresponding classical ground state is removed due to tunneling. tunnel splitting ΔE o calculated by use path integral formalism. It shown that coherent integrals do not yield reasonable result. However “bosonlzation” system yields excellent results semiclassical limit. This result follows from approach replacing number s + 1/2 which causes renormalization preexponential factor .
