摘要: [1] The air-sea coupling is usually parameterized in terms of the drag coefficient Cd, but scatter experimental data around such dependences very significant and has not improved noticeably over some 30 years. In paper, which meant to be first a series, complex approach problem suggested. Multiple mechanisms, contributing into sea drag, are singled out, studied separately, evaluated then reunited joint parameterization for Cd. Dependences on wind speed state, effects trends gustiness investigated detail. Gustiness found responsible most distant outliers. Our also combines an Lake George study with theoretical investigations conducted by means WOWC (Wind-Over-Waves Coupling) model. Overall agreement model measured stresses quite good, within 20% bulk data. Lower envelopes important result paper. They provide “ideal” relationships drag. Almost any deviation from conditions causes increase. It suggested that decrease respect ideal conditions, exhibits itself number known open ocean sets, would caused momentum flux back waves due long outrunning wind. Behavior Charnock parameter wave age considered.
