摘要: In verbal communication, affective information is commonly conveyed to others through spatial terms (e.g. in "I am feeling down", negative affect associated with a lower location). This study used target location discrimination task neutral, positive and stimuli (words, facial expressions, vocalizations) test the automaticity of emotion-space association, both vertical horizontal axes. The effects stimulus type on representations were also probed. A congruency effect (reflected reaction times) was observed axis: detection upper targets preceded by faster. occurred for all types, indicating that association not dependent sensory modality content stimuli.
