摘要: The cell membrane establishes the physical barrier of and separates inner volume from extracellular environment. This single phospholipid bilayer harbors proteins, which serve a plethora functions are essential for life cell: transport mechanisms, signal transduction, adhesion, organization cytoskeleton, regulation volume, determination landscape surface. Cell membranes major sites NO synthesis in various types: sarcolemma skeletal muscle fibers (Cell 82:743–752, 1995; Physiol Rev 81:209–237, 2001; Ann Neurol 53:512–520, 2003) cardiomyocytes(Handb Clin 101:135–142, 2011), specialized rafts endothelial cells (Pflugers Arch 459:817–827, 2010; Pflugers 459:793–806, 459:807–816, 2010), postsynaptic densities (Exp 148:34–44, 1997) all bind distinct NOS isoforms.
