摘要: Abstract Isotretinoin is a retinoic acid frequently used in monotherapy or combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B (NBUVB) irradiation to treat patients acne and psoriasis vulgaris. As both diseases need frequent and/or prolonged therapeutic interventions, the study of genotoxicity retinoids becomes important. Our aim was genotoxic effects isotretinoin alone NBUVB. In vitro studies were performed absence S9 metabolic activation using blood from five healthy volunteers, incubated 72 h (1.2–20 μM) (i.e., at concentrations usually achieved doses as well higher concentrations). vivo also two three vulgaris treated (8 20 mg/day) NBUVB (20 mg isotretinoin/day + NBUVB). The effect evaluated by cytokinesis-blocked micronucleus comet assays. showed that not when tested human lymphocytes vivo. There no clear psoriatic induced apoptosis necrosis doses.
