摘要: Abstract In the present study three-point-bend impact experiments were conducted using an instrumented Charpy pendulum with a laser displacement measurement to better understand correlation between velocity and dynamic effects observed on load-time curves. The performed at velocities ranging from 1 4 m/s. aim of this work is measure fracture toughness high where classical method limited by inertial effects. direct measurements specimen deflection are successfully used for evaluation. results obtained method, which compared other studies, indicate that approach seems promising brittle materials such as PMMA.
