摘要: Percocypris pingi is an endemic and economic fish species only found in the upper Yangtze River basin China. It has become endangered recent years due to overfishing and/or dam construction. However, available genetic data are still scarce for this species. Here, we sequenced complete mitochondrial genome sequence of P. using long polymerase chain reactions. The mitogenome 16,586 bp contains usual 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA 22 transfer (tRNA) 1 control region, gene composition order which similar most other vertebrates. Most genes except ND6 eight tRNAs encoded on heavy strand. overall base strand 30.9% A, 25.7% T, 26.6% C, 16.8% G with a slight AT bias 56.6%.
