摘要: The mucopolysaccharidoses are a group of lysosomal disorders characterized by abnormal accumulation glycosaminoglycans within cell lysosomes leading to variety signs and symptoms including alterations in speech voice production. These changes were analysed 44 patients with mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) types I, II, VI using standardized protocols. Compared healthy individuals the diadochokinetic rate for fast repetition syllables was slower more irregular, voice-onset time voiceless consonant /p/ shorter, most had hoarse voice. fundamental frequency (F0) sustained spoken vowels normal range women children MPS, but adult males MPS higher F0 than men.
