摘要: Abstract The solvent extraction of methyl violet from aqueous acidic solutions by salicylic acid in xylene was studied. Inorganic acids such as hydrochloric (HCl), sulphuric (H 2 SO 4 ) and nitric (HNO 3 were used to adjust the pH feed phase. HCl shown give higher efficiency distribution coefficient at pH = 6.0 ± 0.1 than H HNO . increased 24 when concentration 1.4 × 10 − 2 3.6 × 10  mol L − 1 presence salt sodium sulphate (Na phase decreased efficiency. extracted dye stripped into 9 mol L acetic solution. loading capacity found be 5.1 mg per (25 mL contain 0.0125 g acid).
