摘要: Photothermal radiometry (PTR) and modulated luminescence (LUM) were applied to detect monitor the demineralization of root enamel surfaces human teeth produce caries lesions subsequent remineralization produced lesions. The experimental set-up consisted a semiconductor laser (659 nm, 120 mW), mercury-cadmium-telluride IR detector for PTR, photodiode LUM, two lock-in amplifiers. A lesion was created on 1-mm X 4-mm rectangular window, spanning surface, using an artificial gel demineralize tooth surface create small carious samples subsequently immersed in solution. Each sample examined with PTR/LUM before after treatment at times from 1 10 days 2 remineralization. signals showed gradual consistent changes time. At completion experiments, transverse micro-radiography (TMR) analysis performed correlate depth mineral losses. In this study, TMR good correlation PTR/LUM. It also found that duration did not well any technique, PTR/LUM, or TMR, which is indicative significant variations - rates among different teeth.
