摘要: Abstract The 9 GHz EPR spectra of Mn 2+ impurity ions incorporated into the tactoid structure hydrated Ca-montmorillonite has been investigated in temperature interval 300–500 K. It found that a phase transition from liquid to liquid-crystal-like occurs near 373 this depends on amount free water clay structure. Zero-order or 0 d -Argand diagrammatic techniques (DISPA) have used study lineshape before and after transition. is concluded below K are due absorbed hexagonal silicate sheet cavities Mn(H 2 O) 6 complexes above two- three-layer montmorillonite adsorbed inside sheets. This shown irreversible processes occur when heated These may be importance extraction heavy oils bitumen tar sands by thermal treatment.
