Exact diagonalization study of optical conductivity in the two-dimensional Hubbard model

摘要: The optical conductivity \sigma(\omega) in the two-dimensional Hubbard model is examined by applying exact diagonalization technique to small square clusters with periodic boundary conditions up \sqrt{20} X sites. Spectral-weight distributions at half filling and their doping dependence 20-site cluster are found be similar those a \sqrt{18} cluster, but different from 4 results. results for enable us perform systematic study of spectral-weight transfer region Mott-gap excitation lower-energy regions. We discuss Drude weight effective carrier number on electron density large on-site Coulomb interaction.
