摘要: Abstract– A linear instability analysis of an inviscid annular liquid sheet emanating from atomizer subjected to inner and outer swirling air streams a non-swirl round jet has been carried out. The dimensionless dispersion equation that governs the was derived solved by Numerical method investigate effects liquid-gas swirl orientation on maximum growth rate its corresponding unstable wave number produces finest droplets. To understand effect with respect direction, four possible combinations both direction have considered. Results show at low Weber combination co-inner stream counter-outer largest most shortest breakup length. co-rotating highest rate. Also, results for planar theory accurately predicts variation in length velocity.
