摘要: The effects of Aloe barbadensis gel and aloe constituents on the activity microbial human metalloproteinases have been investigated. Clostridium histolyticum collagenase (ChC) results dose-dependently inhibited by activity-guided fractionation led to an active fraction enriched in phenolics aloins. Aloins shown be able bind inhibit ChC reversibly non-competitively. aloins are also effective inhibitors stimulated granulocyte matrix (MMPs). remarkable structural resemblances between pharmacophore structure inhibitory tetracyclines, suggest that via interaction carbonyl group at C(9) adjacent hydroxyl anthrone (C(1) or C(8)) secondary binding site enzyme, destabilizing MMPs.
