摘要: We have treated patients with initially unresectable locally advanced biliary tract cancer (BTC) by administering gemcitabine and found that surgical resection became feasible in some downsized patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the usefulness downsizing combination chemotherapy using plus cisplatin treat BTC. subjects were 150 consecutive who for BTC between October 2011 April 2014. Downsizing carried out 39 (26.0 %) whose lesions because Reduction tumor size seen 18 patients, performed 10 (25.6 %). Median survival time following those alone 17.9 12.4 months, respectively (p = 0.0378). According historical comparison chemotherapy, there is no significant difference overall survival.
