摘要: Purpose – The paper aims to improve upon the highly unconcretised works contract performance research, by examining relationships between management, inter-functional coordination, trust and whether these variables have an effect on performance. Design/methodology/approach This study is cross-sectional correlational. It also takes descriptive analytical design. Data were collected from a representative sample of 108 completed fully documented contracts in central government procuring disposing entities Uganda, financial year 2013/2014. Out these, responses 64 used for analysis, using Statistical Package Social Scientists (SPSS). Findings results suggest that delivery management relatively more important than relation rules based system, importance coordination minimal, further expounding critical difference private public procurement systems. Originality/value study, unlike other studies developing countries, considers individual issues rather holistic entity. Works considered this unique inherent challenges deserve being isolated studied. makes original contribution whereas has been general terms recognized literature as determinant performance, not best practices system enhancing contract.
