摘要: Variegated expression of variable NK cell receptors for polymorphic MHC class I broadens the range an individual’s response and capacity populations species to survive disease epidemics population bottlenecks. On evolutionary time scales, this component immunity is exceptionally dynamic, unstable, short-lived, being dependent on coevolution ligands subject varying, competing selection pressures. Consequently these systems are largely specific have recruited different classes glycoprotein, even within primate order mammals. Such disparity helps explain substantial differences in biology between humans animal models, which genetics ignored. KIR3DL1/S1, recognizes Bw4 epitope HLA-A -B most extensively studied receptors, exemplifies how variation all possible parameters function diversify human response.
