摘要: OBJECTIVE: An unusual pattern of responding by a woman with aphasia was analyzed respect to cognitive neuropsychologic models language processing. BACKGROUND: Spontaneous spelling aloud in spoken naming tasks has been reported small number earlier cases. C.P. exhibited this behavior and, addition, produced attempts at assembled phonologic that reflected errors oral spelling. METHOD: Assessment on variety single word-processing and analysis variables' underlying performance were carried out. RESULTS: The assessment revealed greater impairment than orthographic output lexical representations, less errorful route responses assembling from grapheme-to-phoneme conversion. C.P.'s skills changed over time, when written ceased hold an advantage naming, the use information ceased. CONCLUSIONS: supports existence separate phonological lexicons, argues against mediation spelling, as orthography seemed be used strategically, shows some limits interaction components within word
