摘要: A novel analytical approach to classify breeding systems in Angiosperms combining statistical and conceptual criteria is proposed, which will allow describe compare available mating system data an unified form. Four indexes (BSI) were combined: Index of Agamospermy, Spontaneous Self-Pollination (ISSP), Self-Fertility (ISF), Self-incompatibility. Their values, ranging from 0 ∞, analyzed using t tests discriminate experimental index values 1.0. For each index, five discrete categories described. Within Angiosperms, there marked trend toward evolution partial self-incompatibility with significant depression.
