摘要: This article illustrates the application of a 2% ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate-cross-linked polystyrene support (EGDMA-PS) in manual solid phase peptide synthesis. copolymer has been characterised and optimised for synthesis by performing few model peptides two biologically important peptides. EGDMA-cross-linked was prepared suspension polymerisation monomers EGDMA styrene. EGDMA-PS resin undergoes facile swelling variety solvents, both polar nonpolar, used The polymer functionalised Friedel-Crafts chloromethylation reaction. Peptides were assembled on cross-linked chloromethyl capacity 1.63 mmol Cl/g. biological synthesised are an 11-residue ATP binding site CDC2 kinase difficult sequence-a nine-residue β 34–42 corresponding to portion hydrophobic terminus β-amyloid protein 1–42. After synthesis, cleaved from treating with neat TFA. Purity obtained good yield checked TLC HPLC methods found be fairly high.
