摘要: Abstract Introduction Although chronic renal dysfunction (CRD) is a common complication among patients undergoing liver transplantation (OLT) its prevalence, risk factors, and impact on outcome have not been well defined. We aimed to assess the incidence of CRD, associated factors outcome. Patients methods The cohort 289 consecutive adult first transplant with posttransplant follow-up longer than 6 months received cyclosporine in 230 (153 oil-based 81 microemulsion formulation), tacrolimus 55. CRD was defined as serum creatinine levels greater 1.3 mg/dL for more months. Results After mean 67 months, 138 (47.8%) displayed CRD. prevalence 30.9%, 41.5%, 38.9% at 1, 5, 13 years after OLT, respectively. Twelve (4.1%) developed end-stage failure. Male gender, older recipient age, pretransplant hyperuricemia, in-hospital during OLT were each significantly development Survival lower (63%) those without this (71%, P = .024). Conclusions an important cause morbidity although disease infrequent. Because early decreased long-term patient survival, efforts should be made avoid transplantation.
