摘要: Abstract Pure butanol as well methane-assisted non-premixed flames were studied in a counter-flow burner configuration view of the emergence production from agricultural sources. Major combustion species measured across flame using line Raman imaging and temperature measurements obtained with K -type thermocouples. Of particular importance was comparison same heating value equivalence ratio, overall ratio but varying reactant flow rates. Extinction strain rates for wide range conditions. It shown that there decrease extinction rate increasing both constant fuel heat release more vulnerable to compared methane. Species concentration indicated N 2 concentrations anti-correlate flame, agreement theory. Finally, possibility estimating scalar dissipation at stoichiometric surface χ stoich investigated through measurement mixing layer thickness δ , performed an intensified CCD camera modest-power laser.
