摘要: Thinopyrum ponticum and Th. intermedium provide superior resistance against various diseases in wheat (Ttricum aestivum). Because of their readily crossing with wheat, many genes for disease have been introduced from the wheatgrasses into wheat. Genes to leaf rust, stem powdery mildew, Barley yellow dwarf virus, Wheat streak mosaic its vector, curl mite, transferred by producing chromosome translocations. These offer an opportunity improve diseases; some them extensively used protecting damage diseases. Moreover, new is continuously detected progenies wheat-Thinopyrum derivatives. The present article summaries characterization application fungal viral disease-resistance derived intermedium.
