摘要: Deposition and transformation rates are basic parameters for the determination of dispersion deposition aerosols. On basis an air trajectory model appropriate aerosol measurements at Faroes British Isles concentration difference resulting from about 1 000 kilometres transport over water is used to determine eddy rate sulphur dioxide sulphate which corresponds a velocity 2 cm/sec ±50 % 0.4 %, respectively. The found be close with half life 60 hours ± 20 %. clean Atlantic contains 0.8 ?g/m 3 50 0.2 dioxide. These levels two three times less than that previously assumed global tropospheric averages in estimating cycle, indicating natural production free sea surface has been overestimated. Electron microscopic particle morphology chemistry provides unique direct verification models used. DOI: 10.1111/j.2153-3490.1976.tb00684.x
