摘要: 1. Spiracle 1 of Sphodromantis lineola possesses a moveable valve equipped with two closer muscles which act as synergists, receive identical innervation but on different regions the valve. 2. The are controlled by motor axons produce simultaneous small EPSPs in left and right spiracles. 3. Valve activity can be facultatively coupled to abdominal ventilator} rhythm. Three patterns coupling have been recognized. 4. Ventilation-coupled includes burst formation. Similar repetitive bursts produced spiracle nerves an isolated segment treatment CO 2 mechanical stimulation.
