Operative versus non-operative treatment of recent injuries to the ligaments of the knee. A prospective randomized study.

摘要: Two hundred consecutively seen patients who had an injury to either the anterior cruciate ligament or medial collateral ligament, both, were randomly allocated treatment by conservative a surgical regimen. Injuries could not be demonstrated benefit from in any respect--with without surgery results excellent. With injuries recovery was more rapid but otherwise differed between groups only one respect: pivot-shift test often positive after treatment.
