摘要: As part of a study aimed at determining the factors affecting overwintering habitat choice by Halyomorpha halys, we examined behavioral response to light diapausing adults (which have no reproductive activity) and non-diapausing adults. Bugs were tested individually in chamber (14, 18 24°C) containing dark refuge with opaque (black) sides roof. Each bug’s position was recorded regular intervals. The results indicated that bugs prefer settle place (p < 0.05). This preference appeared weaken 24°C; however, this apparent trend probably due greater overall activity under warmer conditions. In tests bugs, lower proportions observed inside higher temperatures; for places exhibited all temperature Based on these results, infer H. halys fundamental whether or not they are diapauses, which plays main role hiding behavior. becomes most obvious winter, decrease resulting from temperatures. We propose common location is one responsible bugs’ convergence specific microhabitats aggregate formation halys.
