摘要: The effects of dust opacity on the radiation nearby and distant galaxies are reviewed. geometrical distribution inside galaxy plays a fundamental role in determining wavelength dependence obscuration galaxy. In local Universe, late Hubble type appear to contain enough that corrections for effect become important. This is true especially at blue UV wavelengths, i.e. range interest studies massive stars star formation processes. Multiwavelength observations provide powerful tool characterizing reddening caused by dust. A ‘recipe’ given removing recovering optical light star-forming galaxies.
