摘要: Solar wind proton and alpha spectra from the Faraday Cup portion of SWE experiment on Wind spacecraft have been analyzed to determine temperature anisotropy each species, under assumption convected, bi‐Maxwellian distributions. From start mission in late 1994 date we collected over 2 million measurements anisotropies solar wind. This dataset is sufficiently large conduct a statistical study, comparing observed various limits imposed by instabilities. Specifically will discuss effects firehose, mirror, cyclotron With limit established, examine several cases where this approached or exceeded comment magnetic field activity parameters during these intervals. In plasma beta regime illustrate evidence transition mirror instability as dominant limit.
