摘要: Phase formation during the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis in Ti-C-M (M = Ni, Co, Cr) eutectic-type ternary systems with and without preheating has been studied. It was found that proceeds via origination of quasi-binary TiC-M eutectics, principle reaction being TiC formation. The dependence combustion temperature on initial charge composition evaluated by thermodynamic analysis.
