摘要: This study examines the impact of environmental policy in Jordan. The article evaluates implementation process and reviews measures, instruments their effectiveness banning, removing and/or reducing negative externalities Data was provided through analysis responses to questionnaires distributed all key enforcement officials working Ministries Environment, Agriculture Health. Additional sources were laws, regulations, official documents reports issued by government. shows that Jordan’s relies solely on command control approach mitigate externalities, while completely overlooking price-based rights-based instruments. Such are widely increasingly employed developed countries have proved efficiency protecting environment. results reveal measures insufficient achieve effective policy. Consequently, they incapable internalizing three ministries ineffective both monitoring enforcement, which essential for success environment Results may motivate government regulators endorse addition measures.
