摘要: Waterlogging, one of the notorious abiotic stressors, retards growth apple plants and reduces their production. Thus, it is an urgent agenda for scientists to identify suitable remedies this problem. In current study, we found that melatonin significantly improved tolerance seedlings against waterlogging stress. This was indicated by reduced chlorosis wilting after applications either leaf spray or root irrigation. The mechanisms involve in functions maintain aerobic respiration, preserves photosynthesis oxidative damage which are under Melatonin application also enhances gene expression its synthetic enzymes (MbT5H1, MbAANAT3, MbASMT9) increases first report a positive feedback exogenous promotes synthesis plants. A post-transcriptional regulation apparently participated regulation. When meets requirement protein MbASMT9 suppressed. Taken together, results showed effective molecule protect plant, particularly
