Implementation of Multiple traits Multi Lactation Random Regression Test Day Model for Production Traits in Australia

摘要: Genetic evaluation of dairy cattle using random regression test-day models is now common internationally. In Australia a multiple-trait multi-lactation test day model (MTMLTD) was introduced. Legendre polynomials second order were used to the genetic and permanent co-variance structure throughout lactation trajectory. This paper described results from implementation major components Australian including, estimation, reliability calculations, adjustments for herd-year-season variance heterogeneity simultaneous de-regression cow’s bull’s EBVs be in genomic analyses.
