摘要: The spatial and temporal distributions of sunflecks in a soybean canopy were quantified with an array photocells data logger that measured photosynthetic photon flux density (PFD) at either 0.05-or 1-s intervals. number recorded per day ranged from 500 to 1800 cumulative leaf area indices (LAI) 0.5, zero positions LAI > 3. most frequent class was 0.4–0.8 s duration. However, shorter than 1.6 contributed only 6.7% the PFD available for photosynthesis. Most separated by short low-light interval 60% occurring within 6 previous sunfleck. Sunflecks 20–93% total daily locations receiving sunflecks. potential role observed sunfleck characteristics photosynthesis is discussed.
