摘要: Hardbound. This new volume from the SETAC (Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry) Special Publications Series examines phenomenon persistent pollutants in seas oceans. Unlike highly visible obvious effects caused by oil, certain chemicals have unseen but long-term far-reaching on marine ecosystem. They often long half-lives, are carried great distances pass easily through food chain prey to predator. The behaviour these each type animal (invertebrates, vertebrates, fish, mammals fish-eating birds) described. A final overview draws observations conclusions together presenting a work that provides foundation for understanding environment.
