摘要: AIM The aim of this study was to propose a new voice rehabilitation program for Parkinson's Disease (PD) patients based on and choral singing treatment (VCST). METHODS authors carried out pilot test-retest non-controlled with twenty PD that voluntarily took part the speech treatment. Patients underwent 20 hours therapy, two sessions one hour every week, 26 singing, session week. activity were directed by therapist expert in singing. pre- post-treatment assessment included neurological otolaryngological evaluation, acoustic analysis, auditory quality respiratory function within weeks before after VCST. RESULTS observed significant improvement (P<0.05) functional residual capacity (FRC%), maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP), expiratory (MEP), duration sustained vowel phonation (MDPh), prosodia reading passage, using paired t-test; fatigue passage Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. No difference found other variables. CONCLUSION VCST can improve specific abnormalities an amusing, agreeable, collective approach, but randomized controlled trial (RCT) is necessary find evidence efficacy.
