摘要: Abstract Hypromellose acetate succinate (HPMCAS) microparticles containing the poorly-water soluble drug celecoxib (CEL) were prepared by electrospraying intended for oral delivery. Various solvent mixtures with different solubility CEL and HPMCAS used to induce changes in polymer structural conformation of microparticles. The performance was evaluated studying solid state from, particle size morphology, radial distribution release. amorphous all electrosprayed morphology dependent on mixture poorer solvents resulting smaller rougher appearance. particles surface relatively homogeneous similar Drug release from observed at a higher rate depending electrospraying, cases an least 4-fold compared crystalline drug. precipitation supersaturated solution inhibited based its parachute effect while did not reach supersaturation. This study demonstrated that can be produce tailored properties pharmaceutical application adjusting selection.
