摘要: Surface sediments contaminated with high levels of multiple heavy metal(loid) species are very common environmental problems. Especially, the labile and bioaccessible fractions metal(loid)s in posing serious risks to biota overlaying water quality. This study aimed at developing a potential method manage activity surface sediments. assessed feasibility adding iron powder, low-cost industrial by-product, containing Pb, As, Cd adsorb onto sorbent surfaces retrieve laden powders by applying external magnetic field. In addition, redistribution Cd, As different sediment fractions, dissolved fraction sorbent-adsorbed fraction, was also investigated characterized. The results indicate that bioactive (exchangeable carbonate-bound fractions) prone concentrating can be selectively removed from retrieval. addition induces conversion into more stabilized fractions. Overall, process effectively minimize
